Idaho legal aid rep in Bonners Ferry May 23

A lawyer from the Coeur d’Alene office of Idaho Legal Aid Services will be in Bonners Ferry on Monday, May 23, 2016, to meet with low-income Boundary County residents who have legal problems or questions.
Legal Aid’s lawyers provide free legal help with the following: problems with government benefit programs, including TAFI (welfare), Food Stamps, Medicaid, Medicare, SSI, Social Security, and county assistance; tenants’ problems with landlords, including evictions and repairs; foreclosures of subsidized mortgages; customer problems with utility companies; and problems dealing with creditors.
Those interested in meeting with the lawyer on the fourth Monday of each month can schedule a time to meet by calling the Bonners Ferry Food Bank at 267-3663.
The meetings will take place in Bonners Ferry. Idaho Legal Aid Services, Inc. may also be contacted at 667-9559 throughout the month to seek legal help for problems that cannot wait until the next monthly visit to Bonners Ferry.
