Trinity at City Beach honored by chamber

SANDPOINT — The Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce has selected Trinity at City Beach as its musiness of the month for May for the restaurant’s commitment and generosity in the community.
After vacationing with family members in Sandpoint for several years, proprietor Justin Dick moved his family from Denver, Colo., in 2007 and shortly thereafter reopened Trinity at the new 58 Bridge Street location. Justin and wife, Shaunavee, stay busy serving breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week. When not busy in the restaurant, Justin Dick also manages to find time to give back to the Sandpoint community through charitable events and partnering with non-profits fundraising activities for various causes.
Trinity at City Beach has generously donated food and their time to such events as CHaFE 150, Harvest Ball, Holly Eve, and Panhandle Alliance for Education. Just recently, Trinity at City Beach hosted Cinco de Mayo organized by the chamber’s Leadership Sandpoint class to raise funds to save Sandpoint Teen Center. In addition, the restaurant also has contributed in numerous fundraising events such as Team Laughing Dog’s Race Across America battling autism, Yappy Hour for the Panhandle Animal Shelter, Kinderhaven’s Festival of Trees, and Bonner Community Food Bank.
“As a small business owner in Sandpoint, I feel obligated to help identify the needs of this growing, ever-changing community as well as create relationships with like-minded individuals,” My employees share this same view and are eager to donate their time volunteering and organizing various community activities.”
The restaurant offers a full service catering experience, including hosting events on the shores of Lake Pend Oreille, with the majestic Cabinet Mountains providing a breathtaking vista above the lake.
