DOVER — Just in time for summer water fun, Sandpoint Watersports has opened a new shop in the Dover Bay Resort and Marina. With a new location and under new ownership, Sandpoint Watersports is ready to help locals and tourists enjoy plenty of recreational opportunities on the beautiful lakes and rivers of North Idaho, according to the Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce.
New proprietors Gary and Trinette Chapman are retired farmers who are committed to making a fresh start in a new industry. The offer recreational boat, ski and waverunner rentals at reasonable prices. They provide only well-maintained, certified-safe equipment to ensure each customer’s experience is pleasurable, worry-free and fun, the press release said.
Additionally, although Sandpoint Watersports operates exclusively out of Dover Bay, the Chapmans welcome clientele from all surrounding areas. They offer a 5 percent discount to all return customers to show their appreciation of their customers’ loyalty, according to the release.
Representatives from the Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce were on hand at a ribbon-cutting ceremony May 10 to launch this new business in Dover. Its hours of operation, 7 days a week, are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The shop is located at 651 Lakeshore Ave. in Dover. Customers can reserve equipment at www.sandpointwatersports.com 24 hours per day, or by calling 208-920-9292.
