Volunteers gathered at All in Stitches in Polson last week to share the work of transforming donated and specially-purchased fabric into receiving blankets for babies at St. Joseph Medical Center in Polson.
Much of the fabric used in the outreach was donated through a gift certificate given to the sewing group by the St. Joseph Service League.
All in Stitches manager Susan Brown said the group meets twice annually to make the items and that she will deliver them to St. Joseph’s Medical Center in the near future.
Along with the All in Stitches donation, members of Big Arm’s Knit Witz donated 40 pillowcases and two quilts to the cause.
In all the group delivered the pillowcases, two quilts and 57 receiving blankets.
