Graduation week ahead for high school seniors

Hundreds of students around the Flathead Valley will be able to say “that’s a wrap” on their high school education as graduation ceremonies start Saturday and continue through June 4.
Thirty-seven home school students are set to graduate from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Easthaven Baptist Church in Kalispell.
On June 2, Linderman Education Center in Kalispell and Whitefish Independent High School will hold commencement ceremonies.
• Linderman anticipates 95 students will graduate at 7 p.m. in the gym.
• There are nine students who will graduate at the Whitefish Independent High School commencement ceremony at 1 p.m. in Hope Garden at Muldown Elementary. In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved to the black box theater in Whitefish High School.
June 3 graduation ceremonies include Flathead and Stillwater high schools.
• Flathead High School has an estimated 350 students in the Class of 2016. The graduation ceremony starts at 7 p.m. in the high school gym.
• Twenty-nine Stillwater Christian School students are set to get diplomas at 6:30 p.m. in the school gym with a reception to follow in the lobby.
On June 4, Bigfork, Columbia Falls, Glacier and Whitefish high schools have graduation events.
• Bigfork has an estimated 65 students set to graduate. The graduation ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. in the gym.
• Columbia Falls High School graduation is at 11 a.m. in the gym. An estimated 125 seniors are set to graduate.
• Glacier High School will graduate 303 students at 11 a.m in the gym.
• Whitefish High School’s graduation ceremony is set for 1 p.m. in the gym. The senior class is made up of 127 students and eight exchange students.
