Sleyster accepts

NSCS membership

Madison Sleyster of Sandpoint has accepted membership in The National Society of Collegiate Scholars.

“NSCS is more than just a symbol of academic achievement. Membership gives students access to a number of amzzing benefits, including career and networking resources, scholarships, travel, and service projects both on campus and in the community,” said Stephen E. Loflin, NSCS founder and CEO.

NSCS is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies and is the nation’s only interdisciplinary honors organization for first- and second- year college students.

Membership is by invitation only, based on grade point average and class standing. NSCS has over one million lifetime members and 300 chapters in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.

Madison Sleyster is a freshman at the University of Denver.

Paul Hill receives Graceland honors

The honor roll lists for Graceland University’s 2016 spring term have been announced, and Paul Hill of Sagle has been named to the honors list.

Graceland University students with a GPA between 3.65 and 3.99 are named to the honors list.

Graceland University is a liberal arts university located in Lamoni, Iowa, and is sponsored by Community of Christ. It has been recognized by the Princeton Review as a top school in the Midwest and fosters academic excellence with over 50 academic programs and a 15:1 student to faculty ratio.

Ahlers earns bachelor’s degree

Linna Ahlers, Sandpoint High School graduate, has graduated with a bachelor’s degree in family and consumer science, food and nutrition dietetics option, from the Coordinated Program in Dietetics at the University of Idaho.

Joshua Hill is named to president’s list

The honor roll lists for Graceland University’s 2016 spring term have been announced, and Joshua Hill of Sagle has been named to the president’s list.

Graceland University students with a perfect 4.0 grade point average are named to the president’s list.
