A good definition of leadership is that a true leader has the ability to see a problem, bring stakeholders together for a frank discussion, and then devise an equitable solution for all.

Kate McAlister has a proven track record of leadership, consensus building, and problem solving. She has consistently brought viable solutions to the table in her many leadership roles within the community.

Our current state representative, Heather Scott, has displayed none of the qualities of a true leader. Instead, she has focused on divisive, unproductive, and costly grandstanding ploys that have resulted in zero net benefit to most of her constituents. Instead, she focuses on the agenda of a vocal minority of voters while ignoring the local majority.

On Nov. 8, we will have a chance to bring sanity back to our representation in Boise. Please vote for Kate McAlister, state representative, District 1A.
