Officials seek information on moose poaching near Bigfork

The Montana Department of Fish Wildlife and Parks is seeking information on a moose poaching incident that occurred over the weekend on Crane Mountain near Bigfork. Officials report that someone killed a moose and took the two hind quarters and the head, abandoning the rest. Anyone with information is advised to contact FWP Warden Chuck Bartos at 253-2934, or call 1-800-TIP-MONT. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward.

Polson registration for Little Guy Wrestling Tuesday

The registration meeting for Polson’s Little Guy Wrestling program will be held at Polson High School auditorium at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Polson Auditorium. The program is open to wrestlers from age 6-years-old through 8th grade.
