The Troy Lady Trojans wrapped up their season last weekend with a 7-10 record.

As an older team, many of the players will be graduating this year, including Alyssa Lewis, Sarah Pierce, Olivia Roach, Allie Brown, Ashley Gromley, Kylie Carr, Olivia Short and Sami Rohrich. Many of these players have been playing varsity for quite some years, and finished their last season with the best record they’ve had.

“These were a great bunch of girls,” coach Mandy Love said. “All these girls were sophomores when I started, and they’ve been really working hard to be where they are. They will be missed next year.”

At the district tournament on Saturday, the Lady Trojans took a loss in three games to Eureka, 18-25, 15-25 and 18-25.

Love said the team played very well despite the loss.

Allyssa Lewis had one ace, four kills and one block, while Olivia Roach made four kills and one block. Allie Coldwell made three kills, and Sami Rohrich had three kills and one block. Allie Brown provided 13 assists and one block, and Kaitlyn Downey had 15 digs.
