Kalispell Police took a report from a woman in Polson who thought it was strange that her children had purchased apparently brand new appliances from someone at a storage unit in Kalispell. A microwave and two refrigerators were allegedly seen at the unit. An officer was already on the case, and the information was forwarded to the investigator.

A vehicle on Third Avenue West was broken into. The owner was concerned because a spare key appeared to be missing.

A shopping cart was reported stolen from a grocery store. The woman who took it was found and cited, and the cart was returned.

Officers searched for youths that were seen in the vicinity of U.S. 2 West, allegedly running on the top of cars and jumping on them at 1 a.m.

A 1997 green single cab Toyota Tacoma was reported as stolen from U.S. 93.

Tools were reportedly stolen from a vehicle on Fourth Avenue East.

Flathead County Sheriff’s Office took a written report from a woman traveling Montana 82, who claimed that a man in a Ford extended cab truck had followed her, tailgated her, then passed her and hit his brakes. The man allegedly stopped in the middle of the road and started coming toward the woman, and yelled at her. The woman drove around the man. A deputy planned to take a report and contact the suspect at a later time.

Two suspected four-legged cat-killers were taken to doggy detention after a woman reported that the duo had allegedly murdered a cat on Cobbler Village. The dogs did not have tags.

A deputy informed a man that law enforcement could not help him retrieve his 20-year-old daughter from a residence without a warrant. The man was concerned because he believed people were doing heroin at the residence.

A person on Harvest Lane had to take his or her dog to the vet. The dog appeared to had been shot in the leg with a .22-caliber gun.

Whitefish Police took a complaint about leaves that had been pushed into the street by a gardener. The homeowner promised the mess would be picked up, per a city ordinance that requires that leaves be bagged.

Authorities in Polson alerted officers in Whitefish that a business’s checks might have been stolen, because checks from that business had been showing up at multiple places in Polson.

Columbia Falls Police gave a woman advice about how to evict her problematic brother.
