Flathead County Sheriff’s Office sent an officer to Crestview Drive in Bigfork after a woman found that someone had thrown a rock through her front window during the night. There were no suspects in the case.

A dispatcher told a caller that the county road department had been informed about some vulgar language referencing the recent political election that had been spray-painted on a railroad overpass. The department planned to have someone clean the mess up.

The owner of a Martin City pitbull was counseled after the dog killed a neighbor’s chicken. It was noted that the chicken has escaped its enclosure and was running loose at the time of its demise.

A deputy was unable to locate a man who was allegedly seen waving a pistol out of his window on U.S. 93 in Whitefish.

Deputies contacted a man on U.S. 2, where a man was found to be wanted on two misdemeanor warrants. Because of an overcrowding situation at the jail, there was not space for him to be taken in.

Whitefish Police reunited a dog with its owner after an officer nearly struck it with a patrol car on Wisconsin Avenue.

Columbia Falls Police were called after someone allegedly broke up a fight in which five boys were beating up on a girl. The children’s parents were called.

A woman on Fourth Avenue West reported that her boyfriend had allegedly stolen $500 from her. An officer could not find the money in a pat down search of the man. The woman was told she could sue the man in civil court if she still felt wronged.
