Deborah 'Debbie' Marie Danielson-Schueller, 61

Deborah “Debbie” Marie Danielson-Schueller, beloved daughter, sister, wife and aunt, passed into the Lord’s care on Nov. 14, 2016, at the Hospice House in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Debbie was born in Dawson, Minn., on March 23, 1955, to Donald “Don” and Alice (Mork) Danielson. She was raised in Madison, Minn., and graduated from Madison High School in 1974. Debbie worked as a waitress where she met Michael R. Schueller. They were married on Sept. 4, 1976, in Madison. She was also a seamstress and homemaker. In 1979, they settled in Rathdrum, Idaho.

Debbie was an active member of the Hayden Lake VFW Post 9831, where she held all post offices. She was also a life member of the Coeur d’Alene VFW Auxiliary Post 889. Debbie was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Rathdrum and was very active in the Altar Society. For 20 years, she was known nationally as Mrs. Ole the Cookie Lady of Yellowstone Trucking. Friends across the country will miss her and her cookies and expertise as a baker. Debbie loved animals, making jam, cookies and cakes. She enjoyed reading, traveling and sight-seeing. Her greatest joy was helping people, she was a friend to everyone she met and faced life head on, full out, with no retreating.

She is survived by her husband, Michael of Rathdrum; mother Alice Danielson of Inter Grove Heights, Minn.; sister Carol Knight of White River Junction, Vt.; brother Ronald Danielson of Rosemount, Minn.; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, foster children, and extended family and friends.

Debbie is preceded in death by her father.

Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or St. Stanislaus Catholic Church.

Rosary is 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, 2016, and memorial Mass will be 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 18, 2016, both at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 812 McCartney St., Rathdrum, ID 83858. A reception will follow the Mass at the Parish Center.
