BFHS senior named part of All-Northwest symphony

Outstanding music students from Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington and Wyoming have received top honors by being selected to participate in one of the 2017 NAfME All-Northwest performing groups.

Congratulations to Amy Holman, a senior member of the Bonners Ferry High School Concert Band and Jazz Band who auditioned and was selected to join over four hundred and fifty other outstanding high school instrumentalists in this gala event. Amy will perform on Bass Clarinet in the All-Northwest High School Wind Symphony in Bellevue, Wash. on Feb. 16-19 under the skilled direction of Gary Gilroy, Director of Bands at California State University. She was selected from over 4,600 students who auditioned to participate in this event, which is managed by the National Association for Music Educators.
