OTHELLO — The Othello Christian Church is seeking actors to fill roles in its annual “Drive-thru Bethlehem.”

The parking lot of the polka-dotted church is the site of this Christmas spectacular. It is transformed into the streets of ancient Bethlehem.

This year’s edition of Drive-thru Bethlehem will be staged on Sunday, Dec. 18, from 5-6:30 p.m. It presents various scenes of the Christmas story.

An event of this nature requires support from the community. The church is in search of persons who would like to participate as characters from the Bible in this live presentation.

Volunteers need to arrive at the church by 3 p.m. A meal is provided to everyone who helps.

The church also needs animals for the presentation. It is asking help from anyone who might be able to provide sheep, goats, cows, donkeys or camels.

If you can help or would like more information, you may call the church office at 488-2208 or email othellochristianchurch@gmail.com.
