Adams County elections all but decided

RITZVILLE — It took a little bit longer in Adams County to get a clear consensus on the results from the general election, but now with nearly all ballots counted the results are effectively decided.
The Adams County Auditor's Office reports in this election cycle there were 6,689 registered voters county-wide and 4,832 ballots were counted, a 72.24 percent voter turnout. The next scheduled ballot count is set for Nov. 28, with the election results to be certified the next day. There are an estimated 20 ballots left to be counted in the county.

- Adams County:
- Dan Newhouse, 2,393 votes, 55.48 percent
- Clint Didier, 1,920 votes, 44.52 percent
- District:
- Dan Newhouse, 128,173 votes, 57.65 percent
- Clint Didier, 94,167 votes, 42.35 percent
Ninth Legislative District Representative No. 1
- Adams County:
- Mary Dye, 3,383 votes, 75.28 percent
- Jennifer Goulet, 1,111 votes, 24.72 percent
- District:
- Mary Dye, 33,479 votes, 67.05 percent
- Jennifer Goulet, 16,456 votes, 32.95 percent
Adams County Commissioner District No. 1
- John N. Marshall, 2,517 votes, 58.37 percent
- John W. Hunt, 1,795 votes, 41.63 percent
Adams County Commissioner District No. 2
