Bier, Belgarde top standings

SANDPOINT — Chris Bier and Gale Belgarde Jr. were leading the rainbow trout and Mackinaw standings following the close of action during the Lake Pend Oreille Idaho Club’s Fall Derby on Monday.

Bier pulled in an 18-pound rainbow that measured 34 1/2 inches. Jim Carothers, Brady Stewart, Dietmar Krueger and Don Salter round out the rainbow standings.

Belgarde boated a 18-pound laker to head up the Mack standings. Sally Kalb, Art Webb and Nathan Hansen in the second-, third- and fourth-place spots, respectively.

Alexis Berbe is leading the Junior division. Nolan Steward is leading the Youth A division, while Buck Vanderkolk tops the Youth B bracket.

Adult rainbow trout:

1. Chris Bier, 18.22 pounds. 34.5 inches; 2. Jim Carothers, 17.46, 32.5; 3. Brady Stewart, 11.08, 29.5; Dietmar Krueger, 9.84, 32; 4. Don Salter, 9.44, 27.

Adult Mackinaw:

1. Gale Belgarde Jr., 18.84 pounds, 36 inches; 2. Sally Kalb, 16.70, 37 in; 3. Art Webb, 16.50, 33; 4. Nathan Hansen, 13.50, 32.75.

Junior Division:

1. Alexis Berbe, 19-pound, 35-inch rainbow; 2. Cameron Roslak, 8.44-pound, 27-inch rainbow.

Youth A Division:

1. Nolan Steward, 14.72-pound, 31.75-inch rainbow; 2. Caleb Roeder, 8.54-pound, 26-inch rainbow; 3. Blake Shockey - 8.24-pound, 27-inch rainbow.

Youth B Division:

1. Buck Vanderkolk, 6.40 pounds, 25 inches; 2. Mason Nett, 6.34, 23.25; Claire Belgarde, 4.44, 23.5.

Mac of the Day — Art Webb, 14.40 pounds (Nov. 19); Gale Belgarde Jr. 18.84 (Nov. 20); Aaron Hargrove, 9.86 (Nov. 21).
