A Polson man has denied drug-dealing charges after police officers found an array of drugs and weapons at his Turtle Lake home.
Michael Pierre Grant, 33, pleaded not guilty in Lake County District Court last week to a felony count of criminal possession with intent to distribute.
According to court documents, law enforcement officers executing a search warrant on Oct. 6 found containers of cocaine, methamphetamine and other evidence alluding to drug dealing transactions at Grant’s home. In addition to drugs, officers also discovered multiple firearms, including an AK-47 assault rifle, a 12-gauge shotgun and a .22 caliber rifle with its serial number scratched off, documents state. Officers also noted in the documents that a 6-year-old child was present at the time of the search.
A jury trial was scheduled for March 6, 2017.
