MOSES LAKE — It's that time of the year again to start digging warm coats and hats out of the closet, as the 22nd annual Ag Appreciation Parade and Street Party will be rocking downtown Moses Lake Friday night. The event promises to be a cold one with temperature hovering in the mid-30s.

The annual event, which pays tribute to local agricultural businesses and farmers, all the while ringing in the holiday season, will be kicking off with a street party at 5 p.m. Attendees are invited to hear the sounds of the season from carolers, write a letter and get a picture with Santa at Looking Glass Studio, take part in a marshmallow roast, warm up with hot cocoa and apple cider, participate in the Toys for Tots drive and more in the downtown Moses Lake area.

Performances at Sinkiuse Square include: Kenny and Ekko Nash from 6 to 6:30 p.m. and Dance FX-RBC from 6:30 to 7 p.m.

The parade, consisting of lighted fire trucks, tractors, horses, trailers, cars, floats and more, is scheduled to make its way down Third Avenue at 7 p.m.

For more information on the event contact the Moses Lake Business Association at 509-764-1745.
