One person was killed Saturday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of West Valley Drive and Farm-to-Market road.

According to Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Thomas Manz, a pickup truck was traveling eastbound on Farm-to-Market Road, when a northbound Chevy Impala on West Valley Drive stopped at a stop sign and then pulled into the path of the pickup. The accident was reported at 1:34 p.m.

“For reasons unknown the Impala pulled out in front of the pickup,” Manz said.

The vehicles t-boned and rolled, Manz said.

The driver of the Impala was killed. The driver of the pickup and a passenger were taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.

Alcohol and speed are not suspected to have been a factor in the crash.

“It’s still under investigation,” Manz said.

Authorities have not released the identification of the deceased, pending notification to the crash victim’s next of kin.
