Walmart burglary leads to four arrests

HAYDEN — Kootenai County Sheriff's deputies arrested four people Saturday in connection to a reported burglary at the Hayden Walmart.

Around 8 a.m. Saturday, deputies responded to the store for a reported burglary after employees reported several individuals had taken a cart full of stolen merchandise out the front door of the store and loaded the merchandise into a vehicle.

After employees told deputies the vehicle's desciption and direction, deputies located the vehicle leaving the area and conducted a traffic stop in the Kohl’s parking lot. During the stop, deputies found the stolen property in the back seat.

During the search of the car multiple stolen items were discovered, including driver’s licenses and credit cards belonging to identity theft victims. Marijuana and paraphernalia/needles were also located in the vehicle.

Rebecca L. Turner, 34, of Spokane, was arrested for conspiracy to commit burglary, possession of stolen property, possession of controlled substance with the intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia. Lela L. Haisley, 33, of Spokane, was arrested for conspiracy to commit burglary, false info to law enforcement, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. She also had a warrant out of Washington for drugs.

Brendan M. Fletcher, 26, of Spokane was also arrested for burglary and possession of stolen property and grand theft. Dustin M. Davis, 36, of Hoquiam, Wash., was arrested for conspiracy to commit burglary and possession of drug paraphernalia.
