Daily Inter Lake | Hagadone News Network | UPDATED 9 years, 2 months AGO
A well-known skeptic of climate change, Christopher Monckton, will give a presentation at the Outlaw Convention Center in Kalispell on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
The presentation, which will focus on climate change and BREXIT (the United Kingdom’s recent vote to leave the European Union), is being sponsored by Northwest Liberty News and Concerned Citizens of Northwest Montana.
Along with former U.K. Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, Lord Monckton co-founded the Centre for Policy Studies in 1974 and has testified on four occasions before Congress on the issue of climate change. He is chief policy adviser to the Science and Public Policy Institute and the International Climate Science Coalition.
According to a press release for the event, “Having witnessed changes already occurring in Europe and globally, Monckton has the insight to see how new policies and events here in Montana and the Northwest relate to world happenings.” To learn more, visit www.lordmoncktonfoundation.com.
Admission to the meeting costs $10, and doors open at 6:30 p.m.
