The Wave is participating in a global workout this month.

The Spartan Race is hosting the world’s biggest workout as 100 gyms across the U.S. and Canada, Mexico, Singapore, Switzerland, Spain, Chile, Italy and the United Kingdom live stream the workout.

“Our mission is to increase the health and well being of our community,” said Art Krueger, director of The Wave. “We are excited to be one of only 100 facilities worldwide to be bringing such a fun and exciting fitness event to our local community.”

Spartan is challenging the world to “Beast It Up” on Fitness Revolution Day on Saturday, Oct. 15. The event is at 10 a.m.

“The beauty of the workout is it’s tailored to you as an individual, to push yourself at your pace and current fitness level. The goal here is to get a group of like-minded individuals together who share a common drive, and passion for health and fitness, without having to worry about ‘keeping up’” said John Sullivan, who is the only Level 2 Certified Spartan Trainer in Montana.

All fitness levels are welcome and encouraged to attend and participants will receive a Spartan rally towel when pre-registered by Oct. 9. Space and towels are limited.
