NIC president, wife to speak to NIC boosters

COEUR d’ALENE — North Idaho College President Rick MacLennan and his wife, Theresa, will be the guest speakers at the North Idaho College Booster Club Luncheon at noon Tuesday at the Coeur d’Alene Outback Steakhouse.

Before joining NIC in August, Rick MacLennan was president of Garrett College in Maryland since 2010. Prior to Garrett College, he served as the vice president of student services for 12 years at Olympic College, located on the Olympic Peninsula in Bremerton, Wash.

Theresa MacLennan is the executive director of the nonprofit North Idaho Centennial Trail Foundation. Before moving to Idaho, she was the executive director of Garrett Trails in Garrett, Md., for five years.

The public is welcome to attend the luncheon. The NIC Booster Club meets on the second and last Tuesday of the month at noon.
