Kalispell Police on Saturday responded to a theft report near Hutton Ranch Road, where two men allegedly stole a speaker and ran through the caller’s fence. One of the men was caught by the caller, who waited until police arrived and cited the suspect with trespassing.

Someone allegedly found a pistol inside a sack full of beer bottles in a Kalispell dumpster.

A coffee shop employee called dispatch after witnessing a woman allegedly smash the windshield of a vehicle in the parking lot. The woman began yelling at the vehicle owner while the alarm was blaring, drawing Kalispell police to the scene. Police requested a sheriff’s deputy to escort the woman to her home in Lakeside after noting “she is not dressed appropriately for the weather.”

A barbecue fell out of someone’s pickup bed at the intersection of U.S. 93 and West Reserve Drive on Saturday.

A west Kalispell resident reported finding the neighbor’s lawn chair placed under a window. The caller told dispatch they believed the placement was related to a previous burglary that had happened on the property.

A woman “talking about young naked bus drivers” grabbed a Kalispell man’s phone from his hand without asking. The man retrieved his phone and reported the disorderly woman to dispatch.

A man reported his mountain bike and longboard missing Saturday night. The caller said the longboard had been sitting near the back door and the bike had been in the carport in a gated yard.

A woman told dispatch she walked up to her boyfriend’s car and saw an unknown man inside. The man immediately ran from the car and nothing was reported stolen.

A man brought a dog to Flathead County Animal Control after he nearly hit the dog while driving. After the man stopped, he told officials that the dog jumped into his vehicle.

Columbia Falls Police were dispatched to a home where a man was allegedly breaking things and grabbing weapons around the house.

A Whitefish woman called to report a burglar on Sunday. She said the suspect broke into her home, found a bottle of wine and poured it all over a bed inside the home. She told dispatch she was home when she heard a sound downstairs, but didn’t investigate the commotion. When Whitefish Police officers arrived at her home, they found no signs of forced entry, nothing out of place, wine bottles unopened and nothing poured on the bed.

Flathead County Sheriff’s Office responded to a break-in near Columbia Falls. The neighbor who called dispatch reported finding a tire iron left in the yard, which they believed to be the tool used to gain entry.

Someone reported $1,000 worth of tools stolen from their unlocked vehicle.

A man reported a handful of kids allegedly doing drugs in a community park parking lot and driving erratically through the lot. The man told dispatch that they left when he approached them, but wanted to report the event anyway.

Young teenagers were seen “rough-housing” near some structures at Volunteer Park in Lakeside.
