William Leroy Evans, 79

Our beloved father, William Leroy Evans (Butch or Bill), was born on Nov. 12, 1936, and passed away peacefully on Oct. 2, 2016. He grew up in Annaplois, Calif., and attended Horicon school.
He met and married Kathleen Evans and had three daughters, Kathy Miller, Charlotte Barnes and Janet Medley. He also raised a stepson, William Evans. He worked at a plywood mill in Cloverdale, Calif., for most of his life. After getting divorced he moved to Athol, Idaho, and met his companion, Barbara J. Miller.
Our father was the most kind, sincere and happy person around. To know him, was to love him! He was a very strong and courageous man. He was a cancer survivor. He had an absolute passion for the San Francisco 49ers! His hobbies were picking berries, camping, going to the casino and music. He loved country music. Hank Williams, Don Williams and Alan Jackson were his favorites!
He is survived by his three daughters, Kathy Miller, Charlotte Barnes and Janet Medley; sons-in-law Eddie Miller, Duane Barnes and Daryl Medley; companion Barbara Miller; brothers John Payne, Eddie Payne and Art Evans; sisters Barbara Marwick and Rena Giles; and grandchildren Crystal Westphal, Cammie Bell, Carrie Evans, John Barnes, Mandy Medley, Angie Medley, DJ Medley, Cody Evans, Markus Evans and Travis Evans; and numerous great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces and close friends. He also leaves behind, Chopper, his beloved dog.
He is preceded in death by his stepson, William Evans; three brothers, Alfred, Kenneth and Ronnie; and three sisters, Elsie, June and Delores.
