The Kootenai Valley Partners Habitat for Humanity has begun the family selection process for a new home to be built next summer.
Persons interested can pick up an application at the Lincoln County Library in Libby or Troy, the Libby and Troy food pantries or at the welfare office at the McGrade Center on Farm to Market Road in Libby.
An application can also be downloaded at kvphabitat.org.
The applications will be available through Nov. 30.
A 60-90 minute orientation meeting is required for each applicant and will be held at 7 p.m. Nov. 29 at Christ Lutheran Church, 200 W. Larch St., Libby, and United Methodist Church, 713 3rd St. in Troy.
Those who want the home must be in need of decent housing, be able to pay a no-interest mortgage and be willing to partner with “sweat equity.”
