Silver Mountain Resort may soon be sold
Silver Mountain Resort may be on the precipice of having a new owner, but it’s not official just yet.
Silver Mountain Resort Marketing Coordinator Willy Bartlett spoke to the Shoshone News-Press Thursday and confirmed Jeld-Wen Holdings Inc. has not sold Silver Mountain and it is still the current owner.
Bartlett did reveal a sale is currently pending, but Jeld-Wen is not releasing the name of the potential buyer or buyers at this time.
A recent filing with the federal Securities and Exchange revels the pending deal is asking for $5 million in exchange for the popular North Idaho winter getaway.
Silver Mountain has not released a time of when the deal may be closed.
Jeld-Wen has owned the resort for the past 20 years and sold three central Oregon resorts in 2010.
