Newly Formed LDS Bishopric

Seth J. King, of Coeur d’Alene, was recently called to be the new Bishop of the Coeur d’Alene 1st Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He and his wife, Jessica, have lived in the area for the past 2 ½ years and are the parents of seven children. Bishop King is originally from San Francisco, Calif., and was raised in Sugar City, Idaho. He graduated from Sugar Salem High School in Sugar City and served a two-year mission to the Charleston, W.Va., Mission. Dr. King attended college at BYU-Idaho and Utah State University in Rexburg and Logan, Utah. He received his B.S. degree in biology education and sports medicine, his M.S. degree in information technology and a Ph.D. in leadership curricular development within higher education. Bishop King is presently a college professor employed by BYU-Idaho and Seminaries and Institutes.

Eric Wallace, of Coeur d’Alene, is First Counselor to Bishop King. He and his wife, Shay, are the parents of three children. Eric was raised in Southwest Washington and graduated from high school in Toledo, Wash. He was converted to The Church in 1999 and then graduated from Eastern Washington University in 2002. Dr. Wallace completed his medical training in Missouri, North Carolina and Kentucky before returning home to the Northwest. He is currently a cardiologist for Kootenai Health.

Aaron Davis, of Coeur d’Alene, will serve as Second Counselor. He and his wife, Eva, have lived in the area for the past seven years and have a young son. They each came from families of 10 children. Aaron was born and raised in Boise where he graduated from Borah High School. He was an Eagle Scout and he served a two-year LDS mission to the Dominican Republic — Santiago Mission, which was Spanish speaking. He later graduated in Spanish/history from Brigham Young University. As a Captain in the Idaho Army National Guard, he completed a tour of duty in Iraq in 2005. He’s a competitive runner and he speaks fluent Spanish. Aaron is the International Sales Account Manager for Ground Force Manufacturing, LLC in Post Falls.

Timothy Smidt will serve as Ward Executive Secretary and J.D. White as Ward Clerk. The Coeur d’Alene 1st Ward meets each Sunday at 12:30 p.m. at the Coeur d’Alene LDS Stake Center, 2801 N. Fourth St., Coeur d’Alene.

Mark Harold Snow, of Coeur d’Alene, was recently called as Bishop of the Coeur d’Alene 2nd Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He and his wife, Rachel, have lived in the area for the past four years and are the parents of six children. Bishop Snow is originally from West Valley City, Utah, where he was raised. He graduated from Cyprus High School in Magna, Utah, and served his two-year mission in the Tijuana, Mexico, Mission. He received his B.S. degree in accounting from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, and he also graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Washington School Of Dentistry in Seattle. Mark is a partner at Riverstone Dental Care in Coeur d’Alene.

Christopher John Armstrong, of Coeur d’Alene, was called as Bishop Snow’s First Counselor. He and his wife, Jill, have lived in the area for the past 10 years and they have six children. Chris was born in Anchorage, Alaska, and raised in Mesa, Ariz., and Clark County, Wash. He graduated from La Center High School in La Center, Wash. He served a two-year mission in the Brazil, São Paulo, Interlagos Mission. Chris received his degree from Brigham Young University and is a Software Engineer employed by Chief Architect Software.

David Lee Moss, of Coeur d’Alene, will serve as Second Counselor. He and his wife, Sarah, are the parents of five beautiful daughters. They have lived in the area for the past eight years. David is originally from Moore where he was raised. He graduated from Butte High School in Arco and served a two-year mission in the Bahia Blanca Argentina Mission. Dr. Moss received his degrees from Ricks College (now BYU-Idaho), Utah State University and Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, Wis. He is a dentist and is self-employed at Moss Family Dentistry.

Andrew Michael Larson serves as the Executive Secretary and James Andrew Anderson is the Ward Clerk. The Coeur d’Alene 2nd Ward meets at 10:30 a.m. each Sunday at the Coeur d’Alene LDS Stake Center, 2801 N. Fourth St., Coeur d’Alene.
