The Troy Lady Trojans lost to the Eureka Lions in three games of 29-31, 18-25, 15-25 on Thursday and to the Bigfork Valkyries on Saturday in 19-25, 22-25, 14-25

During the match on Thursday, Troy had 18 kills; Sami Rohrich and Sarah Pierce gave six. They had five blocks, with Rohrich leading with three. Kaitlyn Downey scoring 18. Allie Brown contributed 18 assists.

Troy head volleyball coach Mandy Love said the team is really close to winning in both matches, being just a little bit off when putting the ball away.

“We didn’t have much kills which hurts us, but our defense is pretty strong,” Love said.

Against Bigfork, Alyssa Lewis led the team in aces with three, with Olivia Roach not too far behind with two. Roach also led the team in kills with four, while Rohrich had three. Brown provided nine assists. Downey scored 17 digs for the team.

The Troy Lady Trojans are 0-6 in conference and will play Libby today at 4 p.m.
