SPOKANE — Jaret Anderson-Dolan put away the go-ahead goal in the first period as the Spokane Chiefs beat the Everett Silvertips 2-1, in Western Hockey League action in front of 3,183 at Spokane Arena on Tuesday, snapping the team’s three game losing streak.

Anderson-Dolan connected on a shot out of midair on a pass by Kailer Yamamoto.

Spokane had both goals in the first period. Yamamoto, with a tip, scored his team-leading seventh goal of the season, making it 1-0.

Dawson Weatherill made 26 saves in goal to pick up his second win as a Chief.

Spokane earned its first home win since Oct. 3, the team’s opener at the Arena.

Everett had won four straight.

The Chiefs (3-4-1-1) will head on a six-game road trip through the East Division starting Friday at Regina.
