VOLLEYBALL: Columbia Falls, Glacier, Flathead reach championship bracket in Missoula

MISSOULA — Glacier posted a 9-5 mark in pool play for seven matches on Thursday during the opening round of the Missoula Invitational volleyball tournament.
Glacier advances to championship bracket action Friday along with Flathead and Columbia Falls. Glacier faces Helena Capital while Flathead tangles with Columbia Falls at 9 a.m. at Missoula Sentinel.
Libby, Polson and Whitefish are on the court for consolation play at Missoula Hellgate.
“We played a lot of teams, tried a lot of different rotations,” Glacier coach Christy Harkins said. “I thought the girls played well.”
