Bagged leaves to be picked up in Post Falls Oct. 29
Coeur d'Alene Press | UPDATED 8 years, 3 months AGO
POST FALLS — Post Falls does not offer a leaf pickup in which residents rake leaves into the street.
Residents in that city should not rake leaves or yard debris into the street.
Bagged leaves and yard debris will be picked up for free on Saturday, Oct. 29, at Post Falls city residences if the materials are placed at the street by 6:30 a.m. that day, as part of the annual fall cleanup.
Bagged material can also be placed inside the garbage toter during regular weekly pickup. Extra fees will be charged for bags left outside the toter on regular pickup days.
Residents can also take yard waste to the county's transfer station at 15580 W. Prairie Ave.
For the fall cleanup pickup, all items must be bagged, bundled or in the garbage cart. Items must not exceed 4 feet in length and 4 feet in width. Furniture, tires, concrete, brick or hazardous material will not be picked up. Appliances will be picked up by appointment only, excluding refrigerators and air conditioners. To schedule an appliance pickup, call Post Falls Sanitation at 457-1820.
Details for Coeur d'Alene's leaf pickup in November, in which residents can rake leaves into the street, will be announced later.
