LETTER: Trump not worthy to represent USA
Daily Inter-Lake | UPDATED 8 years, 3 months AGO
1. Almost daily, new reports are coming to light of Donald Trumps predatory sexual behavior. Folks, this isn’t locker room talk, this is insight into the brain of a man that has little respect for women. To minimize this is tacit approval of his crude and barbaric behavior.
2. Senator John McCain endured four years of beatings and brutal treatment in a prisoner of war camp, serving our country. Donald Trump, who never spent a day in his life serving our country, had the audacity to minimize John McCain’s service to our country. As a veteran of WWII I deeply resent this disrespect of a hero.
3. Donald Trump would disqualify a judge from doing his job simply because of his ethnic heritage. Is this the kind of guy we want to be dealing with countries all over the world?
4. Trump has refused to reveal his income taxes, if he paid taxes at all. One can only reach one conclusion — there is information that he does not want us voters to see.
5. Throughout the political campaign Trump has repeatedly made derogatory remarks about women, revealing his crude sexist attitude.
6. Our president is not only our chief executive officer, but hopefully will also embody the cultural values that represent our country to the rest of the world.
I would be deeply saddened and greatly embarrassed if my fellow voters should feel Donald Trump worthy to represent our great and beautiful country. God, please do bless America and give our citizens the wisdom to vote for freedom and justice for all. —Phillip Iversen, Kalispell
