Authorities identify man killed in Condon rollover

Authorities have identified the man who died Wednesday in a rollover accident near Condon. 

Lake County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victim as Christopher Davis Shipman, 36, of Bigfork. 

According to a press release, Shipman’s vehicle rolled in a crash that occurred at 3:37 p.m. on Montana 83 near mile marker 50. Shipman was not wearing his seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. He landed on the highway. 

Emergency personnel were unsuccessful at reviving Shipman and he was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was sent to the Montana State Crime Lab.
