Law enforcement is seeking assistance from the public in the homicide case of William "Bo" Kirk.

The investigation includes detectives from the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office, Post Falls Police and the North Idaho Violent Crimes Task Force.

Detectives are asking for anyone who may have seen anything suspicious on Saturday between 5 p.m. and midnight around the area of Polson Avenue and Syringa Drive in Post Falls; around Hayden Avenue and U.S. 95 in Hayden; Chilco Road south of Athol; and Rimrock Road, north of Hayden Lake and the Hayden Creek area, to notify them.

Also, if a business or resident has any recordings of the night in the areas noted above, including any game cameras or surveillance cameras, please review them for any signs of Kirk’s gray 2015 GMC crew-cab pickup bearing Idaho license plates K579913.

The truck also had a chrome toolbox in the bed.

Detectives are also asking that people re-watch the surveillance videos that were previously released on cdapress.com, showing a masked individual driving Kirk’s vehicle.

The KCSO has set up a 24-hour tip line for the investigation — 664-1515. Tips can also be sent to http://www.kcsheriff.com/anonymous-tip.html.

The KCSO didn't release any new details on the case Thursday.

In response to an inquiry by The Press on the cause of death, progress on identifying suspects and other aspects of the case, the KCSO issued a statement.

"Detectives will not be releasing specific details of the case at this time as it is an active investigation and could compromise it as well as future prosecution efforts," KCSO Lt. Stu Miller wrote in an email. "There are numerous tips coming into the office and they are trying to process and prioritize them along with gathering new information, establishing timelines and processing evidence already collected."

Kootenai County Coroner Warren Keene said he will determine the cause and manner of death in eight to 10 weeks after the autopsy and investigation are completed.

Kirk, 41, Coeur d'Alene, was reported as missing Saturday night when he didn't return home after getting off work around 7 as an X-ray technician at Northwest Specialty Hospital in Post Falls.

Later that night, video surveillance at drive-through ATM machines at the U.S. Bank in Dalton Gardens and bankcda in Hayden captured two people in Kirk's truck. The driver used Kirk’s debit card to make withdrawals.

Then, still that same night, Kirk's truck was reported on fire on North Rimrock Road in the north part of the county.

Kirk's body was found Tuesday near the Hayden Creek Shooting Range in the Coeur d'Alene National Forest by two men searching for him northeast of Hayden Lake.

As a result of his body being found, the missing person case turned into a homicide case.

Law enforcement officials have not commented on any evidence where Kirk's body was found or where the truck was burned.

The KCSO is also interested in speaking with the driver of a red car that was at the U.S. Bank drive-through behind Kirk's truck at 8:34 p.m.

A benefit account for Kirk's family has been set up at all area Spokane Teachers Credit Union branches.
