Lincoln County celebrates Paint the Town Pink Day today.
Employees and customers are wearing pink and decorating their homes and businesses in pink.

Paint It Pink fundraising efforts help provide free mammograms and breast ultrasounds to uninsured area individuals.

Miracle Minute drive at Glacier football game
Glacier High School’s DECA chapter business association is having a Miracle Minute drive for the Muscular Dystrophy Association during the second quarter of tonight’s Glacier Wolfpack football game at Legends Stadium in Kalispell.
Members will be moving through the crowd in the stands for one minute collecting donations. Fans are encouraged to give what they can.
Red Ribbon week concert fundraisers
Two concert fundraisers featuring Kelley Sinclair of the Gladys Friday band are being held this weekend for Red Ribbon Week. The public is invited.
Today — Bigfork Center for Performing Arts
Saturday — Flathead High School auditorium
Both concerts are from 7 to 9 p.m. Tickets are $29; kids 14 and under free with adult ticket holder. Call 393-2581 for tickets or purchase at the door. The events benefit for Flathead Care.
Kitten adoption
The Spay & Neuter Task Force is sponsoring a kitten adoption event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in the Holiday Inn Express lobby, behind Lowe’s in Kalispell. The kittens range in ages from 4 to 7 months old. All are “fixed,” vaccinated, microchipped, litter-box trained and use scratching posts. Almost all are comfortable with other pets and older children. There is a small adoption fee. For additional information, call 871-2388.
Therapy animal talk
Petsmart, 65 Treeline Road in Kalispell, hosts a special event from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
Sandy Sandler, creator of Bowdabra, a do-it-yourself crafting tool to make hand-tied bows, will lead a discussion on the importance of therapy animals and the comfort they can provide people with hidden disabilities.
Sandford suffers from the anxiety disorder agoraphobia. She is an advocate for therapy dogs and travels with her husky, Vivee.
Pet owners are encouraged to come in costume, along with their pets, for a chance to win prizes while listening to guests talk about the role their pets play in their lives.
Women for Wildlife
The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation hosts “Women For Wildlife, A Ladies Night Out: A Denim & Diamonds Affair” Saturday at the Hilton Garden Inn, 1840 U.S. 93 S., in Kalispell.
A cocktail social starts at 5 p.m. with dinner at 7 p.m., followed by a live auction for firearms, world-class wildlife art, unique collectibles and home furnishings, along with games and raffles.
Tickets are $30 per person, or $350 for a reserved table for 10 that includes $200 in free Ultimate Raffle tickets,

Winter cat shelters
KittyMOM’s Rescue Organization sponsors a winter cat shelter workshop from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Kalispell Elks Club, 1820 U.S. 93 S. Anyone who cares for barn cats, feral cats or stray cats can assemble the shelters to take home. All materials are provided.
Cat food will be provided for those that need it. Volunteers will be there to answer questions about trapping, spaying and neutering. For more information, call Sassi at 756-6907.

Community in Harmony concert
St. Matthew’s Musicians hosts “A Community in Harmony” concert at 4 p.m. Sunday at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, a fundraiser for the Sparrow’s Nest of Northwest Montana shelter for homeless high school students.
St. Matthew’s choirs and soloists will sing inspirational music and instrumentalists will perform violin, flute and piano selections.
All are welcome. A free will offering will be taken at the end of the concert.

Boys and Girls Club fundraiser Saturday
As part of Ford’s Drive 4 UR Community Program, Whitefish Ford will donate $20 to Boys & Girls Club of Glacier Country for every valid test-drive completed between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday.
The dealership will bring five new vehicles to Freedom Bank in Columbia Falls, where they will be available for test driving for anyone 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license. Free burgers and coffee will be served.
Savior’s Lutheran smorgasbord dinner
Our Savior’s Lutheran Church hosts its annual Smorgasbord Dinner from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
The menu features Scandinavian meatballs, turkey and dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, assorted salads, fresh homemade lefse and Scandinavian treats.
The cost for adults is $12.50; children 7 to 12 years of age, $4; children 3 to 6, $2; and under 3, free.
The church is located at 401 Seventh St. W., Columbia Falls. All are welcome.

Climate Smart Glacier Country announced its Climate Smart Champions during a ceremony at the Earth Day celebration April 21 in Whitefish. Awards were presented to businesses, youth and an individual who are leaders in building local solutions to climate change challenges.
