Although they don't have any seniors, the Libby Lady Loggers are district champs.

The Lady Loggers defeated Bigfork in their first game Saturday afternoon, 25-12, 25-15, 22-25 and 25-18 to advance to the championship against Eureka on Saturday night. Then the Libby ladies defeated their cross-county rivals in three games, 25-20, 25-18 and 25-21.

"It's a great day," said LHS coach Cindy Ostrem-Johnston. "This was pretty important to get us set up for a good seed at divisionals."

Libby will play the fourth seed from District 6B at 2 p.m. Thursday at Anaconda.

Troy lost in the first match of the day against Eureka and was eliminated from post-season play.
