Organic foods and drinks are featured at Grabbagreen. The new eatery opens next Sunday in Suite 108 at 405 W. Neider (the Super Supplements plaza off Highway 95).
Grab-bagreen offers gluten-free, non-gmo and whole fast-foods with many organic options. These include juices, smoothies, breakfasts, grain bowls (rice and quinoa), green bowls (salads), acai cups and snacks.
Owners Christina and Ben Horton emphasized healing through nutrition after family members had health problems. They purchased local acreage to lead a more sustainable lifestyle. They also offer a free community room for gatherings and classes including Kundalini Yoga.
Grabbagreen hours are 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sundays. With their “Eat Clean and Free” grand opening Nov. 18, guests can eat free and are encouraged to donate to the Inland Northwest Food Network charity. Phone 277-9700.

New Verizon store offers personal service
Pledging that their representatives “strive for personal service,” the new Verizon Wireless Cellular Sales store opens Tuesday at 2605 N. Fourth St. Previously housing several restaurants, the building on Appleway has been heavily restructured.
Offering cellular sales and service, the place is designed for representatives to sit and work personally with each customer. Individual accounts are reviewed and services and products offered accordingly.

Wigs And Things moves to Sunset
Wigs and toupees and helping people with related medical issues are offered at Wigs And Things. After about 10 years in the mini-mall at Highway 95 and Haycraft, the business has moved to Suite 29 in Sunset Mall (Highway 95 at Sunset Avenue).
“We can find the best solution for your needs,” said owner Sonie Combs. “It’s a great place to come to for a new look.”
She has 40 years experience to add to the 30 years of Barbara Brooks (manager), 35 for assistant manager Sandy Swinyer and 18 for stylist Jennifer Findley, who has her own salon in Spirit Lake.

Golden City Loan, Pawn moves north
Moving after a fire at its five-year location on Fourth Street, Golden City Loan & Pawn has reopened in Suite 2 at 4025 Government Way (across from the fairgrounds).
Owners Alvin and Jazlyn Guillermo buy and sell gold and silver bullion, jewelry, knick-knacks and more. They’re having an end-of-month special for a drawing for a free TV.

- Watch for Cosmic Cowboy Grill on Haycraft Avenue., Gross Donuts where Freedom Burrito was off Highway 95, an office of Waddell & Reed at 320 E. Neider, Advance Auto Parts and The Beauty Lounge on Sunset Avenue and Sweet Lou’s Restaurant and Tap House in the Parkside building on Front Avenue.
- In Hayden watch for Young Chefs’ Academy in Prairie Shopping Center, Papa John’s Pizza where Lava Dog was and a new eatery (Asian?) where Kynrede Cafe was and a gas station-convenience store in the southwest corner of Highway 95 and Lancaster.
- A major development called The Crossroads is proposed for Athol. Watch for details. We anticipate a Super 1, a bank, coffee shop, a motel, a gas station-convenience store, a restaurant and others.
- On Sherman Avenue watch for Rustic Restaurant at 309 Sherman (next to Clark’s Jewelry), Community First Bank at 504 Sherman and STCU at 401 Front.
- We also have Advanced Health Care and Schini Family Dentistry building new places in Riverstone and Sweeto Burrito building near Winco. The Shilo Inn on Appleway will become a Comfort Suites with a major remodel.
- New places in Post Falls will be a gas station at Walmart, Idaho Central Credit Union, PQH Wireless, Popeyes, Green & Grounds Coffee Shop, Cricket Wireless, Silverlake Automotive and The Lean Bean.
- More new places coming to the revised Post Falls Outlet Mall include Riverstone Apparel, Black-Ops Self Defense, My Big Fat Greek Deli, a comic book store and a coffee espresso store.
