Rita Kay Stroisch Taylor, 67, passed away on Monday, Aug. 29, 2016.
Rita was born on Jan. 28, 1949, in Kalispell where she was raised and resided.
Rita was most happy enjoying her family, friends, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She loved spending time at the cabin on Thompson River with her husband and family, hunting and fishing and enjoying the outdoors. Rita enjoyed visiting with siblings, nieces, nephews and cousins at family gatherings.
Rita cherished her Bible study time with Verla and Roxy. Rita had the deepest faith in the Lord; she was happiest praising and worshiping the Lord, the greatest love of her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Cleo Stroisch; brothers, Edward Stroisch and Tom Stroisch; and son, Jeremy Justin Taylor.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Taylor; children, Larry Taylor, Rod Taylor (Denise), Scott Taylor (Leah), and Kelley Shenefelt (Steve), all of Kalispell; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; five siblings, David Stroisch (Sharon) of Colville, Washington, Teresa Brandewie of Bigfork, Mary Mummert of Kalispell, Stan Stroisch of Kalispell, and Janet Malave (Marcial) of Sierra Vista, Arizona; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 3, at Living Waters Foursquare Church, 2794 U.S. Hwy. 93, with a burial to immediately follow at Glacier Memorial Gardens. A gathering will follow the graveside at Birch Grove Community Center.
