Fall golf play under way

ROYAL CITY — After three weeks of the Royal Golf Association fall golf league, the standings have changed again.

The team of Shawn Vetterick and Jeremy Russell has taken over first place with an 11-point week for a three-week total of 35 points. Andrew Perkins and Roger Trail scored nine points to fall out of first place with 33.5 points.

The first-place issue was decided in a third week showdown match between the two teams. Russell and Vetterick won, 63-64.
