End of Summer Fun Fest set

COEUR d'ALENE — The Vine Church will host a free "End of Summer Fun Fest" on Saturday at Landings Park in Coeur d'Alene.

The fun fest, which goes from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., will have multiple bounce houses, an inflatable slide, balloon twister, games, crafts, food, yummy treats, free prizes and more. The entire community is invited to attend.

According to a news release, the Vine Church is a ministry of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Spokane. The release adds the church is starting a brand new ministry in the Coeur d'Alene area to serve the community and help people grow spiritually

"Our church is excited about coming to the Coeur d'Alene/Post Falls area and starting a new ministry here," said Pastor Kevin Schultz. "Hosting a free event like the End of Summer Fun Fest gives us a chance to meet the people in our community, and the community to meet us. It's going to be a lot of fun for everyone."
