Harold L. “Skip” Johnson Jr., 71, husband, dad, papa, race car driver, pet store owner, boater and NASCAR fan, passed away Aug. 23, 2016.
Skip was the shining example of never letting anything stand in your way of enjoying life.
His life ranged from being a tool developer in the northwest, to racing in the ’70s, owning and operating Pet Town USA in the late ’80s and ’90s, boating and legendary parties on the lake, and finally living the retired life RVing up and down the west coast.
Skip had a full and wonderful life that most can only dream of having, rich with family, friends, and love.
Skip is survived by his wife and soul mate Barbra J. Johnson; sister Vicki Warner; seven children Tamma Hicks, Cynthia Wyer, Terri Foster, Thomas Sumner, Nikki Sumner Lough, Darren Johnson, and Chad Johnson and their families.
Skip will skid into heaven saying “Damn, what a ride.”
