Meeting to discuss Dern Road junction project

The Montana Department of Transportation is conducting an open house and informational meeting Sept. 13 to discuss improvement options for the intersection of Dern Road and Springcreek Road on U.S. 2 west of Kalispell.
The event will be in the Glacier III Room at the Hilton Garden Inn (1840 U.S. 93 South). The open house will begin at 5 p.m. and a presentation will follow at 6:30 p.m.
Project team members will be available to discuss the project before and after the presentation.
Traffic and safety analyses and conceptual designs have recently been completed that examined potential improvements for U.S. 2 at the Dern and Springcreek road intersection.
The key findings of the traffic analyses will be presented at the meeting.
