'Faithful Citizenship' event Sept. 17 at St. Pius X

St. Pius X Adult Faith Education is hosting a free workshop “Faithful Citizenship-Forming Consciences for Faithful Citizenship” on Saturday, Sept. 17 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the St. Pius X Faith Formation Center’s great room, 625 E. Haycraft Ave., Coeur d’Alene.

The presentation is by Sister Linda Haydock, SNJM, executive director of the Intercommunity Peace and Justice Center. Some of her focus will examine “Faithful Citizenship: A Catholic Call to Political Responsibility," explore justice rooted in scripture and engage in issues, including: the life ethic, environment, health care, housing, hunger and immigration. In addition, some practical tools and resources will be provided. Lunch is hosted. Please call St. Pius X at (208) 765-5108 to help with plans for lunch and set up.
