Columbia Falls Police searched for a man who allegedly asked a 15-year-old girl if “she did drugs and wanted to come inside for a set amount of time for money.” The woman who reported the alleged interaction said it took place on Sixth Street West.
A woman called to express her concern for her ex-husband, who decided to sleep outside that night, but was “not dressed for the weather.” Apparently, the man had been sleeping in the house recently. The woman said she didn’t want the man to come back inside, but was concerned due to the cold weather.
Flathead County Sheriff’s deputies received word of a burglary in Kalispell off Browns Road when a man reported his home was broken into in the middle of the day and 10 guns were stolen from his gun safes.
A Bigfork runner said she was injured but in a safe place after she was allegedly charged on Aero Lane by a boxer and bulldog. She said the dogs relentlessly chased her around a car that rescued her. The dog’s owner, who was allegedly “not cooperative and refused to give name,” was advised about county dog ordinances.
Officers identified the person who had allegedly stopped a pickup in the road to steal traffic cones from a construction zone before later placing them in the middle of a roundabout.
Whitefish Police responded to a noise complaint after a Minnesota Avenue resident reported asking neighbors to turn down their stereo. The alleged noisemakers replied “maybe,” but the caller said the stereo was still loud when they called police.
Officers talked with a father who brought in his “disorderly” 13-year-old son who was allegedly pouting in the corner of the lobby as he waited to be counseled.
Officers were unable to confirm a complaint of indecent exposure when a man said he witnessed another man urinating in front of a Whitefish business before allegedly shaking an indecent body part at several children walking by.
Whitefish police removed a man from a Whitefish bar who allegedly walked into the place intoxicated, kicking and slurring. The man who reported the incident also requested information about his own arrest from the night before.
