3Cs Coeur d'Aleers group needs new singers
Coeur d'Alene Press | UPDATED 8 years, 4 months AGO
The 3Cs Coeur d’Aleers are looking for a few soprano and alto singers to fill out their four-part harmony.
The group has been entertaining area residents for the past 23 years.
“If you can sing along with your favorite song, and nobody throws cold water on you, you’re in,” stated the group’s announcement that they are seeking new members.
No audition is needed, just a willingness to rehearse every Tuesday morning from 9:15 to 11:30 from September to mid-April. Participants are also expected to sing in two annual fund-raising concerts as well as Tuesday afternoon mini-concerts held twice a month at facilities for the elderly. Sheet music is provided, so there is no need to memorize music and the singers are accompanied by a professional pianist, Jeanie Donaldson, and directed by Rose Dempsey, a professional choral director/musician.
The group is one of the many volunteer activity groups raising funds for the 3Cs — Cancer and Community Charities.
