A Kalispell man is being held on $100,000 bail in Flathead County Detention Center for allegedly dealing heroin.

Kyle Joseph Jacobs, 26, has been charged with three counts of felony distribution of dangerous drugs. He is set to be arraigned on Sept. 29.

According to court documents, Jacobs was documented by law enforcement allegedly selling a gram of heroin on three different occasions in Flathead County on May 17 and May 19.

Each transaction was worth between $270 and $300.

When Jacobs was arrested on Sept. 7, he allegedly had heroin and $1,703 in his possession. Jacobs allegedly admitted that he recently had sold approximately five grams of the drug.

The case is being handled by the Northwest Montana Drug Task Force.

The Office of the Public Defender has been appointed in the case. In paperwork filed for his initial appearance, Jacobs noted that he was unemployed, lives with relatives and has had prior brushes with law enforcement for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
