Health district to host vaccine safety symposium

Panhandle Health District is inviting the public to attend a vaccine safety symposium. The two-hour event will provide an opportunity to learn about and discuss vaccine safety, risks and benefits for school-aged children.

Experts in the field of vaccines will present relevant materials and information to the audience. Keynote speakers include Patricia Stinchfield, MS, CPNO, CIC and William Atkinson, MD, MPH.

The event is free and light refreshments will be offered. IdahoSTARS child care providers are eligible to receive two training hours for attending the symposium.

Panhandle Health District encourages people to protect their health by being immunized against infectious diseases.
