NIC VOLLEYBALL: Cardinals top Blue Mountain CC

COEUR d’ALENE — The North Idaho College Cardinals managed a 25-23, 25-16, 25-11 win over Blue Mountain Community College of Pendleton, Ore., on Monday at Christianson Gymnasium in Northwest Athletic Conference volleyball play.

“I’m very happy with how the girls played tonight,” NIC coach Kelsey Stanley said. “We showed energy and confidence in one another, something we have been missing for a while.”

NIC (8-10, 11-21) hosts Yakima Valley CC at 6 p.m. on Wednesday.
