Cd’A Comfort Keeper named Caregiver of the Year

Jan Shuster, a Coeur d’Alene employee of Comfort Keepers of North Idaho, has been recognized as a Caregiver of the Year following a rigorous national competition. The honor, bestowed on just six Comfort Keepers from more than 675 offices across the U.S., is awarded by Sodexo, the parent company of Comfort Keepers.

Schuster was recognized for providing her clients with a distinctly high level of quality of life care enabling them to continue living independently in their own homes.

“We are thrilled that Jan won this award. She has been a Comfort Keeper for 13 years and this recognition is so well deserved. I couldn’t be happier for her,” said Kat Vercruyssen, owner of Comfort Keepers of North Idaho.

Schuster will be recognized at the Comfort Keepers annual leadership conference in Las Vegas on Oct. 27.

Comfort Keepers, owned locally by Kat and Jim Vercruyssen since 1999, provides in-home care solutions for Idaho seniors living in Benewah, Bonner, Boundary, Kootenai, and Shoshone counties.
